This is one of my families favorites. It serves 6 to 8 as is, but it can be easily double like I have to do. It's easy and only takes 20 minutes to prepare! I usually serve a side salad as well.
2 1/2lbs Hamburger
Can of Peas
seasoning to tasteLg can of Tomato Soup
2 - 4 cups mashed potatoes
Cheese of you choicePreheat oven to 350 degrees. Get a cake pan. Brown hamburger and put at bottom of pan. Put in the soup and mix them together. Then add the peas, put the potatoes on top of that, enough to cover the mixture. Add shredded or slice cheese and put in oven about 15 - 20 min. or until cheese is melted and serve.

One of our favorites is actually one I learned at Alpha. It isn't one from the official Alpha cookbook, but the cook in charge had it in her files. It is super simple and super delicious. I input it into my MasterCook program so I can easily double/triple, etc. The basic recipe, as shown below, is for 4. Oh, and I have found that you can do this recipe with frozen chicken breasts, with no thawing. We sometimes buy the bags of Tyson frozen chicken breasts at BJ's since it is often less per pound than fresh. Also, another thing I do is add some Adobo to the soup mix before pouring it on. It just adds something to the flavor. The kids love this! Oh, one more thing... for Alpha they gave us bags of stuffing cubes to use, but I buy bulk boxes of Stove Top pouches at BJ's, too and measure 2 cups of those.

Me and my girls like to experiment,we come up with some strange things lol, but it all always gets eaten, With 5 teen age boy's nothing goes to wast. One of the kids favorite things that we kind of made up.
It's called Chicken Roll Ups and takes about an hour to fully make.
this does not come with set measurements, we just make it
Pre cook chicken breast
cool and shred or cut into chunks
grad some cheese your choice and how ever much you desire.
take your choice of canned biscuits or home made
roll the biscuit doe out flat and add some chicken and cheese then roll the biscuit around that to seal it off. use a good glass baking pan and pam it, fill up a glass baking pan with how ever many your making in rows. Now place into the oven and bake according to the biscuits.
Take the baking dish back out and add 1 or two cans of ready to use cream of mushroom soup, pour onto the chicken roll ups, top with any remaining chicken and cheese and put back into the oven till golden brown on top.
cool and serve it's YUMMY, my hubby says it taste like chicken and dumplings witch is good because he loves chicken and dumplings.
