my husband and I am all the kids and some of their friends went up to Columbus Air Force Base to Go 4th. It's a big party with live music and fireworks. We had so much fun. We had to take the van and my SUV both to get us all there but it was completely worth it. Everyone had a good time.

We just had two other couples over for a bbq. It was a really nice time, even though it kept threatening rain and we ended up eating inside. LOL! It was a great time.
Tomorrow my husband and i are going to a bbq with people from church that we don't know well. The church came up with a bbq weekend for Friday and Saturday night. You could sign up to be a host or guest and get a chance to meet and mingle with people you might only know by face. Great idea! We'll leave the kids home, though. My oldest will bbq for himself and the other three who will be home. :)
