A little about me: I'm 33 years old, I have four children ages 11, 10, 7, and 6. I live in MI, I've been married for thirteen years. I hope to hear from some more of you.

Hello Peggy, I just joined your club. I am looking forward to having a place to get to know others. I write some poetry. I am 37 years old. I have two children. Tanner 14 and Tyler 11. I have been married for 14 years but together for 20. Hope to hear from you soon and learn what kind of books you like. Becky
Hi, I'm Lori and I love to read. I am married, have 3 grown kids and 5 grandkids. I used to read during all free time I had but now it seems I'm on the computer more. I like alot different authors. Among my favorites are James Patterson, Koontz, Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter,Carol Higgins Clark, Sandra Brown (later books), John Sanford (the Prey books) plus lots others. I guess you can guess the type I like! I would like to write a book. I tried several years ago. It is one of the hardest things to start!!!
I also am involved in the book blogging community. My blog is www.ReadingDerby.blogspot.com. You will see I am involved in lots of reading challenges which keeps me reading a lot. I also am involved in an online book club (when I like the book) and lead a physical reading group.
I am looking forward to the discussions on this site and geting leads on good books! I am not a writer. :) Also I graduated with a business degree too!

I like perusing through here and getting ideas on what to read and what people like. I have four kids, three grown and pretty much out of the nest...two have graduated from college, one has two years to go to graduate-but is being pushed and pushed by his fiance to get married in December in Hawaii by her and her parents, so I hope he finishes....and I have a junior higher whose custody I share with his dad. For a long time, I was really into mysteries. I read everything I could get my hands on of Agatha Christie and Colin Dexter. For the past couple of years, I have really been into Psychology and Self Help genre. Thats probably because I turned "50" last fall, and seemed to fall into this real slump that I haven't been able to shake off.
I find the same thing.I used to devour any books I could get my hands on but now feel it's hard to focus at times.I love to write.I don't publish but I enjoy creative writing. I find it easier to express myself on paper or online than I do with speaking.I kind of feel like I'm unlocking my soul when I write. It's kind of like "blues" for me I can free my passions,triumphs,and downfalls. Reading is almost the same for me but I can travel into another skin when reading but with writing I can fully acknowledge my own.
Hi my name is cynthia and im 33 and i have 3 sons (one is bout to 14 in about a week and i have a 9 yr old and a 21 month old..i love to read and as soon as i finish a book i start anotha right away..readin is my relax time when the kids are sleepin or at school....i read alot and i also write poetry and had alot published im tryin to make a book of poetry ...i have a boyfriend ive been with for 2 yrs but he is not supportive of ne thin so i feel single...and im from massachusettes
