Ali's Bachelors: How Much Do They Make?

Glimmering gowns, private jets, intimate one-on-one dates and heart-wrenching rejections – what's not to love about watching 'The Bachelorette'?

As the men in the mansion trash talk each other, viewers get to keep guessing whom Ali has her heart set on and who's headed home. Will she go for the Retail Sales Manager, the Landscaper or the Insurance Agent? While our golden-haired heroine claims that she's put finding love ahead of her career, she still may be thinking about each man's line of work and what it says about him.

Fans of the show know that Ali has some history around the battle between work and love. She chose to go back to the office rather than say "yes" to a lifelong love affair during her previous stint on "The Bachelor." At that time, she was an advertising account manager at Facebook. Considering her estimated experience level, education, job location, company size and job title, online salary database PayScale.com estimates that Ali was earning about $62,330 a year at that time. She may be getting paid that much for a few episodes, right now, but what if she wants a partner with real earning power in the long run?

To help Ali out, PayScale put together a list of the salary stats for each bachelor based upon his profession, approximate years of experience and where he lives. It was a bit tough to match data to some of their "professions," e.g. entertainment wrestler. But the list offers an estimate of each man's earnings, and it's interesting to note that the winner of Ali's first impression rose, Roberto, is way down the list. Maybe she really is listening to her heart.

For now, let's ignore their charms and take a look at the bachelors based solely on one factor: income.
