• Hello all. I am Kathy, mom to Nick who is going to be 10 this Oct. Man where does the time go??? Anyway, a bit about me. I am 39, I am a SAHM, but I subsitute in the public schools K-5 and HS 9-12. I also go to school on the sly, going to be a History major, and hoping to actually teach before I am 50! LOL  I do volunteer work for the International MOMS Club as well. Oh, and I cook, clean, am the house dr. wife, mom, you name it, I do it here. I like to keep busy when I have down time, so I guess I don't have down time. :)  I did read all the posts, and to the one mom who is looking to rent b/c they didn't get base housing? Have you looked in to Property Management companies? Let me know if you want to go that route, my neighbor does that for a living. Or anyone else who is interested, just email me or leave a msg on my page. Ok, this is turning into a book so I best get going! I hope to meet lots of moms here, and wish you all a great night!

• Hey, My name is Bekah. I'm 22 and have a 1 year old daughter, Emma. Her Birthday was last week (the 24th), lol. I've been married to my husband, Justin, for 2 1/2 years. We have 2 dogs, an American Foxhound and a Saint Bernard puppy (he's about 4 months old but huge!). I'm also a SAHM. I've been here for almost a year and haven't really found any "playgroups" in Stafford. Me and my husband are trying to have a 2nd child, planning on being pregnant before Sept, wish me luck,lol.

• hey everyone I'm Tasha, I'm 21 and I have a healthy wonderful little boy named Lukas (16 months). I'm hoping to meet other mothers in the area.  Since I had my son not many of my friends or my husbands friends for that matter don't want much to do with us.....Sad I know, But true. so were looking for people to hang out with, talk to, have play dates for the kids, etc. please feel free to contact me thanks for the support I kinda need it, lol

• Welcome to the group!  Sad about your friends...but so true at the age of 21 really!  One day they will have children...and know exactly how you feel.  We are lucky in that our friends don't mind when we bring Liz with us...of course we are a bit older--I am 33, DH is 30, and our friends are around 26-27 years old, so they are mostly out of the "party stage"....though we can throw some beers down still :)  Never too old for that!!

• Hi, I'm Allison and the proud mommy of a nine month old little boy named Jeffrey.  I just moved up here from Richmond to help out my family for a while and don't know anyone in the area outside of my family.  I am living in Stafford, near Aquia, and would love to meet some other mommies in the area.

• Hi ladies! I've been in Stafford for a few years- moved here from LI,NY. I am a new mom to a 7 month old little girl. I work FT and commute to and from DC with my husband M-F. Days are long, but worth it. :) Oh, and I just turned 28!

• Hi! I live rite behind Walmart.. do babies this young do playdates? Since we work in DC FT hubby and I dont have a chance to make friends locally, as we are not bar people, we mostly do movies at home, and spend as much time with our daughter on weekends. Sheri. :)

• My name is Tina, We just moved to Stafford a couple of weeks ago. My husband is in the Marine Corps. He is actually in the OCS class right now.  (Officer bootcamp) My husband is prior enlisted.  I am 24 weeks pregnant. We have been TTC for 13 years and finally have our miracle after doing IVF/FET.  We lived in California,Italy,Nc,Hawaii and now VA. I do have a 16 year old as well in highschool. He is adjusting okay to the new area. Of course we moved from Hawaii and we love it out there so that is kind of hard to beat.  I am starting my OB care in Bethesda,MD cause it seems like I can't get the best care around here. I kept on getting the run around.  Love to meet new people and hope to talk to some of you soon...

   We are finally Pregnant after 13 years!
