We are TTC and would like to use a Midwife this time. Does anyone know of any around here? Thanks!

Kathy Reineke with Rappahannock Women's Health in Fburg is the only one I know. I didn't use her because I had twins, but I've only heard good things about her.
I can't personally speak for Kathy Reineke but I do highly recommend Rappahannock Women's Health overall. I've been to the Fredericksburg location a few times (located behind Mary Washington Hospital) but mainly go to the Stafford location across from Sherwin Williams (by Home Depot off of 610).
I don't know if Kathy Reineke travels to the Stafford office or not but here's the number to the Fredericksburg location which is open every day from 9-5 and closed I think from 12-2 for lunch. 540.374.3100

OMG It is so good to see you back! Congrats on your pregnancy! I bet you are so excited. Do you know if it is a boy or girl yet? I can't wait to get pregnant. Anyway I am so happy for you! Thanks for the info!

Thanks! Things are going well this time, I'm feeling pretty good and we're having a boy! Due date is October 7. :)

Don't know if you're still looking, but there is a group of CNM (certified nurse midwives) that do homebirth or birth center births in Alexandria.
They delievered my daughter at their birth center and pregnant again, planning a homebrith.
Thank you! I am actually pregnant now and due in March! I looked into Birth Care but I found the perfect Midwife. She is great. She lives in Warrenton and I am going to have a home birth. I have never met anyone around here that has had a home birth! Usually everyone I tell looks at me like I am crazy lol. Are you pregnant now or are you TTC?

It is definitely nice to find another homebirthing mama in the area! There aren't that many :)
I am pregnant, due in June. I think I might have talked to the midwife in Warrenton. However, my insurance will only cover CNM's for homebirths. I do love the midwives, but its a practice of 5, so its not as personable as a CPM.
Is this your first homebirth? Feel free to message me, I'd love to talk to you more about this!
I used a midwife from Gainesville when I had my youngest (all three children were born at home, but the older two were born in Massachusetts). Congratulations on your pregnancy, on deciding on a homebirth and finding the right midwife for you...and it looks like your new babe will be here soon (if not already....).
