Christmas Trees

So when do you put a tree up (if you put on up?? And is it real or artificial? We put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving we go and cut one fresh.

We wait until December. Altho I prefer a real tree, sometimes the mess and space needed is not possible. I have been creative in the past and decorated a green hanging light shade, an oversized purple velvet formal dress, and other objects to take the place of a tree.

We will put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving.  We used to go and get a real tree, but it got knocked over one year so we bought a fake.  If we could sell the one we have we would go real again.  This one is HUGE.  It was over $300 new, but we bought it after Christmas and got a BIG discount.  Can't wait to put a tree up for the first time in our new house.

I always, always have the tree up, decorated lights on and everything in time for Thanksgiving dinner. We don't decorate for Halloween or Thanksgiving so I don't have to worry about any of that. LOL But this year we are not home for Thanksgiving and won't be back home until the 1st of Dec. I put the tree up before we left in hopes that it would "settle" and not look like I just pulled it out of the storage container. LOL We are on Vacation and won't be with family this year(we needed a break from them lol) So I am thinking about getting one of those Charlie Brown trees kinda as a cute joke, but also to put in the condo for Thanksgiving dinner.

Were putting our tree up this weekend so its going to be up during thanksgiving! :0) We use a fake tree cause our kids are allergic to the real trees. But we do get a real wreath for our front door!

I (we) put the tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving.  We have to have a fake tree =o(  My (our) son has really bad allergies & can't be around real trees.

My mom always bought a real tree, but a couple of years ago, I bought a really beautiful fake tree with the lights already on it, so I don't have to deal with that headache...Just the lights outside of the house.  I will probably put it up on Thanksgiving or the day after...it will definately be up that weekend.

Because we cannot always guarentee where we'll be for Christmas and for how long, we put up artifical. 

We've done real trees in the past when we could predict where we were going to be and for how long.

we  have always had a fresh one we cut ourselves............This year there may be some-fireworks,my children have very bad mold allergies as do I and we want an artificial tree.Hubby doesn't know it yet,but I plan on buying 1,LOL!We always have gone 2wk before Christmas,and take it down on my birthday the 5Th of Jan!

I'm allergic to pines, too. I put our artificial tree up between Thanksgiving and Dec. 5th, depending on the year. It is a pretty realistic looking fake, though.
