Hi Everyone!

Do your kids exchange Valentines in school?  If so, are they making them or did they buy some from the store?

When my oldest daughter was younger she use to get cards and lolly pops from the store to give out. But things may have changed since then she is now 17. I see nothing wrong with making them though.

We are making the valentines for the teachers, cutesie beaded bracelets for the girls, and bookmarks for the boys.

With my 4 year old we buy her Valentine's and tape a sucker to each of them. My older boys make their own Valentine's on the computer, we used to tape suckers onto them, but now that candy isn't allowed in school any more I'm not sure what we're going to put with the cards.

Nope, my kids are now in college, middle school, and high school.  No mass valentine exchanges.  The younger 2 have no boy/girl friends.  One of the twins is also completely unattatched.  The other twin is engaged to be married in July so he'll do something special for his girl, but since he's 7 hrs away....we won't know what he does.

Yes, I got some after Valentine's Day last year, and they are picking what they want from those :)

When my kids were little they always had in class parties and exchanged cards [either bought or made]

last year I bough IronMan ones and Transformers at 75% off. I held them out for my 10 & 7 yr. old to decide between and told them if they didn't like my choices they were welcome to use their own money and get different ones.
THis year I will hit the clerance for my 7 yr. old (the 10 yr. old should be in our middle school), and I will look for some for my niece to hand out in Pre-K.

I buy them on clearance after Valentines day. I have a whole container full for the girls to pick from

Both my daughters made Valentine gift bags for all the kids in their class. Each one has a card, pencil, stickers and activity book. Harry Potter for the boys and Tinkerbell for the girls.

We have (5) teenagers

Boys are 18, 17 and 15---all 3 have girlfriends. The 18 and 15 don't know what plans they have but the 17 yr old will be w/out his girlfriend; she's in Orlando for Nat'l Cheer Competition.

Our girls are 15 and 13---no boyfriends (thank goodness:)) But, I believe their schools offer Valentine grams; where they purchase cards and have it delivered to their friends while they are in their classes.
