I have been waiting for the Monster High Dolls 5 pack to go on sale. The day we get paid I check the sale papers on sunday and sure enough I was excited. It was on sale. So, I go to target to get it. They don't have it. I start calling all the targets by me, which is like 4. No one has it. So, I start calling all Targets in Southern Cali and not 1 store has these dolls!! This was all on sunday. Today is Tuesday and I have been calling every Target within a 50 mile radious every morning so far. They still don't have them. They all have gotten trucks too. This is one of 2 presents my daughter really wants. Can I go to the manager and ask them to order some? Why wont they order any?

I know what you mean. I've been trying to get the Monster High Lagoonas Hydration Station for over 2 weeks now. Checking every store within 50 miles, I'm in SoCal too, and no one has them in stock. A couple store even show a negative inventory of them, however the heck that's possible. I'm so mad because I was so excited to get it for dd and now it looks like I'll have to find something else for her.

Most of  the toys my kiddos wanted  are all sold out at Target even online! I have checked all the Targets in this city and they all say out of stock. I was mentioning this to the ladies at the Luncheon Club the other day and they said it was on the news that Walmart and Target ordered less toys this year because of the economy being so bad. So the only online companies that have these toys are selling them for double the price. I refuse to pay double. LOL

I bought other stuff instead!

You should get a rain check. If they get them in, you can at least still get them on sale. My store will tell me what days they are getting a truck in. They will also tell me if they are getting what I want on it. Just some suggestions.

Where be ya? I have to run by Target later, I can see if they have them, though unlikely if you've already checked.

It's not Target's fault. I bet they wish they had a million in stock. Those are one of the more popular toys this Christmas and the manufacturer can't send them out fast enough.

Wow, checked for you just for the heck of it and the whole stock of EVERYthing monster high was wiped out. I know it existed before. They had Bieber in their place  - oh the humanity!!!

So, when I was 5, I got a personal letter from Santa attached to the tree handwritten just for me! I was sooo excited.  It basically told me that while he understood I really wanted this toy (a cabbage patch something that year), that his elves just got overloaded and he would give it to my mom as soon as his elves could.  I got it two weeks later.  I don't remember any other presents that year!  If you can't find it, you would be amazed the memory a hand written letter from Santa will do :)  Good luck finding the toy :)

Thank you. Her birthday is 2 weeks after Christmas so we got the rebate and will give it to her for her birthday.

It'll work out. A couple of years ago, DS wanted one of those Air Hog Helicopters that had a video camera. Sold out all over. A week after Christmas, my local Target got a massive shipment of them. By then they had been marking down their toys and it was 75% off. I got it for $25 and saved it for his birthday and he was still just as thrilled to get it 9 months later. :)

Ooo!! You could make it a birthday present from Santa!! That could be cute!
