I hate when they advertise diaper sales and then whenever I go and try and get the ones pictured, they NEVER have them in stock but coincidentally it happens to be the one that I have the higher coupon amount! Also, the way they had their advertisement, it seemed like you would get a $5 gift card per item while the larger ones you would get the $15 gift card!
I also noticed that Walmart had the same brand of diapers for $24.77 versus them upping the price during the giftcard giveaway to $29.99! I also saw that Babies R US was having a similar sale and giving $25 gift cards versus their $15!
Soooooooooooooooo pissed!
Then the cashier lied to me and said that one of my coupons did go through and then when i looked at the receipt, it didnt!! I was the last person he was handling for his shift and as soon as he finished, he just walked away!!!
1. In my experience, Target does not raise their price before offering a gift card promo. I have found that it is often more expensive to get the amount needed to get the gift card than it would be to just buy the package I would normally buy.
2. MANY times, the coupon comes off without "showing" in order to know this you would need to know that the Tide (most common with PG) was $17.99, but just printed on your reciept at $15.99.

Has anyone else noticed that Target will often list "sale" prices on those red/white flagged cards that they slip over the regular price... it says like "Price as Advertised" and lists the price. But, if you move the card to see the price underneath, it's the same! The item wasn't really on sale. They just advertised the regular price, but try to make you think you're getting a deal! Sneaky, sneaky.

I have noticed that lately. The trail mix we buy used to be $2.99 and then they marked it up to $3.39 and it was advertised in the ad as being on sale for $3.39! SMH!

I asked about this..... in some cases prices are lower in a store to reflect compettion to a neighboring store. In my case Walmart is right next door. Where as the ad is national.
Then I have also noticed prices going up again, to reflect fuel cost increases.
