Online Searching Tips Lesson #1

When you begin your search for working from home, you want to start with a good search engine such as google.com.  Go to your search engine and type in the following combination of words:

telecommute positions

work from home jobs

legitimate work from home jobs

legitimte telecommute positions

legitimate hiring companies AND home based workers

legitimate hiring companies AND telecommuters

1099 positions

Independent Contractor jobs AND telecommute

Independent Contractor jobs and work from home

legitimate home based jobs

legitimate freelance jobs

 

**To get more specified results add specific industries such as Customer Service, Administration/ Administrative, Telemarketing and so forth**

When you do a search I would also recommend you do a few steps. Go to the site and check it out in detail. Then do an in depth search for that business and see what others have to say about it. Then search for it on the BBB website and see what you find there. Then I would also email and call the customer support and see what kind of response you get. This is a good way to see what the company is really like.

Good luck in your search and be sure to do your research, especially if you have to pay money up front!
