Well I hope you're doing well with that. I found out pretty early that my son has seasonal allergies just like me! There were times when his nose would be really dry and bleed a bit. Well since I had been using saline mist spray to keep my nose from getting too dry, I tried it on him and it doesn't happen so much anymore.

My daughter doesn't have an issue with bloody noses but a good friend of mine has a little boy who is possibly on the spectrum and he gets a bloody nose with the slightest bump of his nose and they can be pretty severe. She carries Vaseline and puts a bit on the nose to help stop the bleeding.

I get them at least once or twice a week. And when the weather changes in the spring and fall I get them 4 or 5 times a day. I always have, and they are not light. 15-30 minutes each. I don't know if its normal or not, but it is for me. Sorry I sure ain't any help. lol.

If it doesn't bleed all that much or for very long at one time you may not need to worry so much. He may have a week vessel. I had that problem as a child. Unfortunately no one knew I had Autism. I have some sensory issues. I can not handle being overly stimulated, like kiddie coasters, or being tickled, or startled. Any excitement would make the pressure rise and the vessel would burst, only my blood did not clot as quickly, and was thin so it bled faster. It also did not regroup as fast as it should've. I'd been to the hospital and even fainted once or twice. Sometimes just going a bit too high on the swing. Too many butterflies. I am 31 now and so very rare are those episodes now and not nearly as bad.
No shame in worrying over your children.

My son Robbie has nose bleeds when it is really dry in the house when he sleeps. Nose bleeds never seem to happen when he is awake. The bleeds also sometimes happen in the changing of the seasons, spring and fall. Again, only at night. It don't get it either. But, they are not frequent and they don't last long .
