Autism and the Army

I am a army wife and my 2 year old was diagnosed this May as autistic.  Some days I can agree and some days I think that he is just like every other kid.  He is quiet and doesn't talk much, but is very interactive when he meets people, but doesn't have any fear of strangers.  He likes cars and sometimes is obessive about them.  I think that he maybe mild, but his doctors said that he is moderate to severe.  It is scary to think about so I just take it one day at a time.
