Hello everyone.  I'm new here.  I have a four year old son who has been diagnosed with severe autism.  He is a sweet little boy who lives in his own world.  He loves hinges and to open and close drawers.  He is non verbal.  I don't know anyone else with a child with special needs so I would love to hear from other moms about how their kids are doing and what they are doing to get in to the world of autism that our kids are stuck in.

Hi!  What an adorable little boy!  My son has the same jammies.  :)

Hi

My daughter Cara is 5 and she was diagnosed at age 2 1/2.  Some times she seems to come out of her world into our world and other times she is locked in her world.  Her biggest problem is communication.  She talks and babbles a lot but does not use speech to communicate much other than occasional one word phrases.

Feel free to send me a message at any time with any questions.
