I'm aware not everyone can do this but I wanted to share.
For the second time in two years I've been able to take my kids to The Big Apple Circus. True it's a bit long for them but it's small and I really like the tent! We got the tickets from their school. Previous years the school had taken the kids on trips to the Ringling Bros circus at Madison Square Garden. Actually a smaller version of it in the theatre area. (I'm not sure of the name.) I believe that was city funded. Only once did we go big the Ringling Bros circus. The Big Apple Circus is WAY better. It took alot of popcorn, hot dogs, cotton candy and a toy each to get both kids to sit through the whole thing. I mean I really wanted to stay for it all since some nice people paid for it for us. I made sure to let the school know how very much I appreciated it. I take my kids out when ever I can but we were so close this time to the ring that I wanted to cry from sheer joy.

I was unable to take the kids this past year, but we have gone at least three times in the past to the big Ringling Bros. Circus. They enjoyed it and actually stayed in their sets the whole time. The only thing I saw was an issue with them, was the noise. They would watch while covering their ears. I would definitely take them again. I always try to find something new for them to do taht we would usually shy away from. But, how do we truly know wht they can do, enjoy and accomplish without trying?!!!
Have fun!!!!!

Yes and they both loved it! Would love to take them to Ringling brothers circus one day! :-)
Yes, I took my 4 year old little boy this year to the circus for the 1st time, (diagnosed w/ asd), and he loved it. I didn't have to bribe him with a single thing. He was in awe the whole time and stayed in his seat. I'm not sure if he'd go again since it was kind of overwhelming, but I think he'll remember it for the rest of his life!
