Well ladies we have started our parents group for autism in my area. It's called Eastern Shore Faces of Autism. Our first meeting we had only 3 parents and our last meeting we had 8. Our next meeting is on the 24th and we should have a few more parents. An it gets even better a local paper is doing a story on autism and they called me today. The reporter asked me the one thing I would want people to know and I told that I wanted people to know autism it's painful but ignorance is. I think you girls would agree. I am so hopeful that is is the start of something great for our area.
Wow! Sorry this reply is so late. It's been tough for me to get online. That's fantastic! Keep me posted on how it's been going. I'm praying for you and your group.
