Welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with each and every one of you! We need each other; they say 'it takes a village'....... Hillary should have spent time with a child with ADHD!

Okay - I was in such a hurry to 'welcome' everyone that I didn't take time to 'properly' introduce myself!
My name is Penny, and I have 3 boys: 19, 10 and 7. The oldest 2 were both diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 6..... our youngest doesn't seem to be having difficulties, although is quite active and having some issues in the classroom; right now, those behavior modifications that we've all tried have been working with our youngest - WHEW!
I'm also a volunteer at our school PTO, as well as serving as a parent advisor to our district, representing parents of and children with disabilities. Makes for a very busy life - I wouldn't have it any other way!

So glad I found a group where there are other moms just like me. My name is Jenn, I'm 29 and have 2 kids (1 daughter-10 and 1 son-7). My son was diagnosed 3 yrs. ago with ADHD/ODD, he's only been on 2 meds. so far, Ritalin and most recently and currently Concerta. I grew up with a stepbrother who was diagnosed at age 2 and when I saw it in my own son I was like "Oh no..." lol. Sometimes just feel like I'm going to lose my mind dealing with him so I'm glad I came here.
