I have been here off and on for several years. Long family of history of ADHD. I took this seminar this week and I now have doubts if ADHD really exists. My questions has been is she she ADHD and the information leaves her brain quick....hence attention deficit, or does it not process correctly to begin with? Being "ADHD" myself, I can relate to most of my 8 year old daughters issues. I was her back then.

This intense occupational therapy program, yet fun for children, is a way to ENHANCE ALL THE SENSES to absorb information and focus better. I walked out of the seminar thinking hell even our schools have it all wrong in the way they teach.(which we have all known for awhile, but I mean BIGTIME) I hope you will all look into this. It's success rate is so high, kids come off meds and even Autism spectrum disorder diagnoses are removed.  Helps with dyselxia too.We start the program soon. Riley struggles to read and spell. Is very hyper and rough. Doesn't listen well either. (comprehend actually)

To get you started on soem things to look in to is your child Sensory over-responsive? sensory under-responsive? Or lik emine sensory seeking? Look these up individually to better understand.

I never knew about the vestibular system and its value in learning. It is in charge of your balance. If your child is clumsy too, the signals from their joints to the brain called proprioceptors could not be fireing off correctly, which inhibits learning. Visual and auditory. This stuff is fascinating. If this program is as good as they say, three months from  now, my daughter won't have reading issues any longer. Its not about teaching reading. It is about teaching your your systems to be captivated to its highest capability, therefore info absorption is at it highest! I will keep ya posted on our progress!

I hope you will keep us posted on this. Try to find other parents who have done this in the recent past and see what they say... B

I am making enquiries about this - sounds wonderful and if it works will be well worth the investment.  I'll let you know how it goes!

I, too, am highly interested - that being said - I would love to see the double blind scientific facts behind it.  If you get any of these, I would love if you would post the links.

Thanks!

Problem with most therapies is that there is never the kind of scientific testing we would like to see. And even if there is testing my sons problem rarely is in the group that was tested. There is something I want to do but finding a practitioner in my area is not happening. It is called Neuro reorganization. Google it... I wish they would come to Nevada...

I find people intriguing who will not TRY everything. Cause you don't know until you try. THANK GOD..I have never been like that. Or I would be disabled now. I tried prolotherapy for chronic pain, when EVERYONE said it doesn't work. I am heathier at 41 than I was at 30..because I TRIED EVERYTHING to get well. 95% cured thnaks to making my ligamnets tsronger. Despite what many other doctors told me would not work.
