I can't post a link so look at Time Tracker Mini. It's at Amazon and Toys R Us. You can set it for 5 minute amounts. The light starts out green, then at the warning time you set it turns to yellow, then red at the end. My son likes it for getting dressed. He wants to beat it. It's made mornings MUCH better.
That's a grestgreat idea. Logan did well with timers at that age. He has out grown them and is on his own time table now.
Quoting HeathersRich:
He has out grown them and is on his own time table now.
The problem is that he's always on his own time table! Actually that would be his own time zone. On his own planet! :)
timers are a good idea for keeping ADHDers on track. Even a simple kitchen timer can work.
My ADHD son(24) sets his iphone alarm in 10min segments to keep himself on track for time in the morning!
just proving the skills that work when you are young, can still work as you get older :)
