What time does your ADHD child go to bed? My son who is 7 goes to bed at 9:00 but does not fall asleep until maybe 9:30. He only gets 8 or 9 hours of sleep.

Mine goes to lay down around 9 but sometimes I'll catch him still awake at 11. If I don't wake him up in the morning, he can physically sleep all day. So I usually get him up around 8-9am, 7-7:30am on school days.

My son just recently got allowed to stay up until 8:00. He will turn 7 in October. For most of his life his bedtime has been between 7:00 and 7:30. When he was younger that worked quite well. Now that he is older he can handle the later bedtime a little better. We are very strict about bedtimes. His room is very dark and he sleeps on the bottom bunk of his bunk bed so it really is conducive to sleep. I also find he sleeps much better if there is white noise. The air is so dry here that at night we keep a humidifier going and if that's not going then the fan goes. He sleeps like a log. He does average wakeup times between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning.

Now that school is starting my 9 year old (the son that has adhd) goes to bed at 9 and falls asleep before 10. My 7 year old goes at 8 and is asleep before 8:15. I wake them up at 7am.

My son has a biological timer that goes off at 815-830. Even if there is not a clock for him to see, he starts to get tired at 815-830 and I check and that is what time it is
