I would really like to see this group become a resource for women who are learning to embrace their true identity as women. I want this group to be for women who love themselves just the way they are, regardless of the media-driven fashion and beauty industry. I hope that plus size women can come here and share their ideas, and I want this group to embrace thin women and their struggles as well. Everyone belongs here. I envision a place where we can talk about fashion, shopping, beauty, health and friendship. Share ideas, encouragement or just come here to cry when we have a "bad hair day".

Learning to love yourself isn't always easy. I'm hoping that those of us who do love ourselves pretty well can share our insights with those of us who are struggling to find our inner Goddess and let her out!

This is not a place to sell beauty products -- I have no problem with someone sharing a cool product they've found and use, but I'm hoping no one will be trying to sell goods here.

Later as the group grows I may start a thread specifically for people to link to their business website but until then, we're just learning and sharing!

And most of all NO HATIN'. This group is about size acceptance, and accepting other things about ourselves. If someone comes in here to release some angst about something they don't like about themselves, I am hoping we can give support instead of telling them "stop whining!" No matter if you're a size 0 or a size 40, you're welcome here!
