Well here's a little about me
My name is Amber Diffley.  I have been married since Sept. 2005 and I have one son who is 19months old(Caleb).  We moved to Gastonia back in July 2006 and we love it so much!! It was the best thing that we have done as a family.  I am also a SAHM.

Hi Ladies,
I am new to Cafe Mom so I am still finding my way around here. I am Jenn a 33 y/o working FTM mom. We currently live near Baltimore MD but DH and I decided we DO NOT want to raise our new daughter here and have decided to move to the Charlotte area early next year. He will be transferring to his company's Gastonia or northeastern Charlotte location not sure which yet.

I hope to get to know you all and to know a little bit more about Charlotte. We hear its a great place to live and raise a family.

So tell me about Charlotte? Where are good places to live and send our dd to school in the future. We are coming down this summer to "scope out" the area.

Hello ladies, my name is Nancy. I grew up in MIami and have been living in New Jersey for the last three years. My family and I took a trip down to Charlotte last summer and fell in love with it. We just bought a house down there and are planning to move by May. My daughter, Sofia, just turned two. I would love to meet other moms in the area for playdates and also for either girls night out, coffee, lunch, drinks or anything that gets us away from the house (for a little bit)

Hi, I'm new here.  I'm sitting here in my house in Utah, but the moving truck will arrive next week, then we'll be moving to Charlotte!   We pretty much threw a dart at the map.  We both feel we need a more diverse place to raise our kids....Utah's pretty one-sided, so...

I'm Mary , I'm 28 and I have 4 kids (ages 1-8) and I'm married as well.  My husband is orginally from NYC.....and living in Utah for the past 10 years, he's pretty much lost his mind, so that's why we're moving lol    My husband is on his way home from Charlotte as I type, he went there this week to sign the papers for the place we're going to live, so it's official.

I dont know a single person in Charlotte, so I hoped to "meet"  someone online, to talk to etc.

HI everyone, I have actually lived in Belmont since July of 07 but have never gotten to know anyone really. I am 28 and  a stay at home mom. I am looking for play groups or any kind of get togethers for the kids. I have a daughter (hannah) on the way due in July, a son (joshua) 2 y/o will be 3 in Aug, and a son (gabriel) 1 y/o will be 2 in Sept. I really want to get them interactive with other kids somewhere other than the nursery at church. If you all know of any play groups or other ways to get them invovled please let me know!
