For some reason I bought a block of feta cheese... and i'm totally lost for what to do with it, except crumble it on salad. any ideas?

Feta is also good in an omlette.

The only missed opportunity is the one never attempted.

definitely in an omelette with spinach (yum yum)!   That's my favorite omelette!

my mom makes a realy good fako gyros(sp) with turky, and feta and a dill yogurt spread,

We grill steaks and then put Feta on top of them just a few minutes before you pull them off the grill.....SO YUMMY!   Also, I put feta in pasta salad w/ veggies, olive oil and red wine vinager for dressing.

I make pasta with it. I brown ground turkey and add jar sauce (omit meat if you want). Then I mix in cooked bow-tie pasta (or any kind) and them mix in a block of feta. I usually use the tomato basil feta, but plain works just as well, too. I will often bake it if the sauce is too thin, but you an just mix it all together and eat! Feta really doesn't melt like normal cheese, but it does soften a lot!
