Herbal treatments for acne?

Has anyone tried herbal treatments as in oral supplements to treat their acne and have you had success?

I was put on a few herbs to treat endometriosis and this also helped my acne at the time.  Chaste  Tree was one of them.  I think it is a hormone balancer.  I think sarsaparilla was another.

Just wondering if anyone else has had success with alternative treatments with acne.

Zinc has proven to be great for controling my breakouts. I know it's a mineral but it works well.

Yes I have heard zinc is good for acne and that we are often deficient in it.
