Okay, so here goes . . . 

First, I want to wish everyone in the group a very Happy New Year!

Second,  I just had a baby girl (Solei) on December 8th (she is now a month) and have been thinking about this grou ALOT lately. When I started the group three and a half years ago it was because I had my first child (Julian) and wanted some upport of mothers around me. The group started suddenly and grew quickly!

I began the group in November and by December at our first official group party for the holidays, we had over 50 mothers, children and babies attend. Pretty awesome I'd say! We soon began Wednesday stroller walks, set play dates, got involved in local activities and held games and contests on CafeMom. We had tons of fun!

Many of the mothers became great friends who babysat each others children, swapped baby items, went on playdates together and even had a few "mommy only dates" without the kiddos. We even had a wonderful Easter party where many of the dads attended and met and one daddy even dressed up as the Easter Bunny himself!

Third, I wanted to apologize to all the original members and new members alike for suddenly not being involved in the group. I ended up going back to work full time (and plus some) and just became very busy with . . .  life, I guess. I noticed the few times  I checked into the group online to see what everyone was up to that there was no activity. I was the leader it seems and I left you all hanging. Again, I apologize :(

Lastly, I have decided that I would LOVE to get this group HOPPIN' again! I would like to invite ANY members (new and old) to contact m if you are interested in helping me do this. Please text me on my cell (561.598.3317) or send me an email ([e-mail]). I would love to hear any ideas for playdates, events, games, contests, etc. or simply get a chance to get to know YOU better.

 Hey Nikki,

I'm a new member and I'm very glad to have joined. I joined for the same reasons that you started the group and I myself noticed that the group was very inactive. When I noticed this I felt like my hopes were squashed (lol). No, really I have been in West Palm for two years now and I left all my family and good friends behind in NY. I hate that my son has no cousins or close friends to play with. Now I have a 4 month old as well and I'm glad he hasa brother to play  with but he wont be able to do that till the baby is older. So, I really hope this group gets poppin' again cuz I would sure love to be apart of the fun. By the way dont forget to enter me into that contest, I love winning things : )

Well congrats ok your baby girl, she's beautiful! I agree too Nikki, I've seen a couple posts here and there from some new members and I remember when I was a new mom and new to the area and joining this group really made a works out difference in my life and gracelyn's. Gracelyn is 4 now and goes to prechool 3 days a week, but I have my 15 month old ds, porter, and he really needs some kids his own age/size/level to play with. And I really miss the wed walks lol.

How have you been, Nikki? Hunter is now almost 4, and I've got another little boy named Camden who is 10 months old. I still work during the week, but I'd love to do weeknight or weekend meetups. I liked the Saturday morning walks at the park.

Hi! I have actually been a member of this group for a long time, but not active. I live in Boynton, and work in WPB. Me and dh are ttc #2 after a devastating mc on Dec 12th. :( Our only child, Juliana will be 5 Feb 19th! I'm sooooo excited for her! 5 is a big birthday :)
