Just a question and Introduction :)

 Hello ladies,

My name is Randi, and I am a mommy to 6, 3 boys and 3 girls. My oldest is 14 and my youngest is 3. My hubby and I just celebrated our 15 wedding anniversary last week. I love to take picture and I hope one day to be good enough to go pro! I can't wait to get to know you all, I am sure we have so much in common.

Now I do have a question. I take pictures of anything and everything, kids, pets, flowers, shoes, you name it. And I have noticed that so far..or at lest since I have joined the group, there are only contest for pictures of people. Can I enter my other pics or is there ever a contest for things other than people? Or is this group just for pics of our kids only?

Hi and welcom to the group! I'll do my best to answer your question. We have in the past had pictures entered of others things besides our children. We (the moms) get to pick the theme for every daily mini contest, so for example if I won a contest, It would be my responsibility to post a new theme for the next day and I can choose any theme I wanted to do, including themes that have to do with flowers, trees, landscapes, shoes, etc. We did just have a Main Contest a couple weeks ago that had to do with pictures of hands and feet and we had a lot of great entries of just our childrens feet and/or hands showing in the pictures. I will say since I have been in the group, and that is over a year now, most of the contest are of the kids but you can always have your pets or flowers or anything in the picture with them! Can't wait to start seeing your pictures :)

I just wanted to add to Liza's answer, that in our "adults and other" category anything goes...so as long as your picture fits the current theme, it does not have to be of a person.  For example, if the theme was "Outdoors" you could enter a nature picture or a flower picture or even an insect picture in the Adults and Other category.  This is however mainly a group for pictures of our kids so the main focus is on children's pictures.

 I have more pictures of my kiddos than anything, so that is fine, I am just a tad bit obsessed with pictures of wierd everyday objects..lol
