We are looking at a home and we are wondering what kind of programs there are my boyfriend is a firemen and I work at a middle school in town! We are in need of all the help we can get oh we are from mn

 It depends on where you are located...or where you are buying.

Soooo....that said.

Probably best to get a local Realtor to assist you with finding local programs.

HUD has a program for certain homes for $100 down payment (several, but not all states)

They have $1 homes for fire and police, EMT, etc  (that you probably don't want) <smile>

HUD has lottery homes for non-profits, etc.

But, different localities have county money, city money for closing costs.

That's why you need to speak to a local realtor toknow what's available where you live.

P.S. If you are from the Kansas City area, I'm your girl!  LOL

Seriously, I keep up on our local programs.
