Hello, I will be 23 this summer and my son will be 3 in November.. My husband and I were engaged when I became pregnant (on purpose) and we were very eager to start our family. We both work FT for his family at their many businesses (hotel, bar, casino, managing apts, limo service) and we are very fortunate to be able to bring our son with us to work. The back office is his playroom and he's very independent and helpful.  It's very similar to Eloise at the Plaza, but smaller and less glamorous ;) He gives guests their keys at the hotel, enjoys flirting with the waitresses, tries to help the kitchen staff, and loves helping wash the limousine...or riding around in it with his Grandma (my MIL).  I was raised very strictly (Bible Thumper parents) and I rebelled and found my own path at age 16.. my husband was raised by his mother and grandparents, and they had a very relaxed form of parenting..letting him forage his own path, with gentle guidance along the way.  Im am definitely the disciplinary one of the two, and my husband is much more relaxed as a parent and I find that it works.. sort of like good cop bad cop, without the interrogation room.. 

My husband is the strong father figure, while i do the nurturing, education, playtime, and disciplin..  I am excited to be part of the group.. none of my friends really have kids.. and the people i know with kids have their own little cliques that I feel awkward around!
