My name is Melissa. My daughter elana is a first year twirler and is still learning but loves it. The main problem is that we are having trouble remembering the tricks she is learning. Any tips or ideas would be greatful (post them in the tip thread)

Ha! I should have read this first. =) My name is Amber & I have been twirling since I was 6 (20+ yrs). My 10 yr. old daughter, Autumn, is FINALLY (per my way of thinking, lol) showing an interest in learning, so I am now teaching her. I also will take on two more "students" starting sometime in the next week or two. I have 2 little boys (ages 5 & 6) who love to play while we practice, although Dad says no twirling for them, lol. Although if you ask them, they don't want to learn, but love to say "Mom...I can do that...see??" We also have an 8 month old whom I will teach either starting when she is old enough, or, if no interest, when she shows me that she is interested. I do not want to push them to learn if that is something they do not want to do. Although I am far from the most experienced majorette out there, I would love to help in any way I can. =)

Hi, thanks for joining my group. I have been struggling to find a support group for moms of twirlers so here we are. Thanks. Com read my journals!!

Thanks for starting it!! I've been trying to get up-2-date on stuff & find out any websites, etc. since I am taking on two more & have had requests to teach a few others. The two I am fixing to take on are more like family...I babysat them & now the oldest sister babysits for me. The oldest will be switching from flag to twirling this year. Tryouts for this year's flag line were "interesting". lol! I helped make-up her tryout routines (solo & capitan) & put lots of majorette trick in there....only improvised for a flag pole. We both had a couple of bruises by the time the weekend was over. I wan't ever able to find out what the judges thought though. =( Oh well...maybe this next year.

Hi, my daughter Tricia is in her 4th year twirling and loves it. She is on an independent team which means it is not affiliated with any school but she used to twirl for her school her first 2 years when she was in elementary. They go to competitions and right now are preparing to go to wildwood.
its nice to meet you. remember if you need support or have question or have advice come and see us!!1
