does anyone still use a bread machine?

 I just pulled mine out after a 5 year hiatus, lol...made a loaf of whole wheat and wondered why i ever put this thing on a shelf

Yes, I have one I mainly use it for making dinner rolls, therefore the dough cycle. I like to use it when the whole family comes home for dinner rolls, sour dough for sandwiches etc.

I just pulled mine out again also and I am looking for some new easy recipes so if anyone has any please post them!!

 i use this one and contrary to your instructions of adding the yeast to the flour in the bread machine this ne absolutely works adding the water and yeast first.. I use honey and olive oil instead of sugar and veg oil

When we buy a house, a bread machine is on my list!  I'd love to have one, just have no room :(

     I have a bread machineand love it, but because I don`t  use it every day, because I don`t eat a loaf of bread every day.

I may have to try this.  How does the bread turn out, is it better or about the same than the recipe the maker comes with?

 it was good, but it is a heavy bread...great thick cut toasted for a sandwich
