I went to our 15th annual Chocolate Indulgence which raises alot of money for our ywca in our community. I entered my choco-caramel delights in the cookie category and I took 2nd place. And the top 3 in each category gets auctioned off n they sold for $25! Im just so happy cuz it raised money for a good cause and I didnt expect any sort of win. I almost didnt enter except my hubby said I should cuz those r his faves and it would give me a nite out without the kids! It was great. Just wanted to share my excitement with u ladies

Choco-caramel delights
1/2 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Caramel-i use the kind u get for caramel apples cuz its quick n easy
1 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
15-20 milk chocolate hershey kisses
1. Beat butter with electric mixer for 30 seconds, add sugar and beat well.
2. Separate the egg, saving egg white for step 4. Beat in egg yolk, milk and vanilla to sugar/butter mixture.
3. In a separate bowl mix, flour, cocoa and salt. Add flour mix to butter mixture and beat until combined. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in fridge for an hr or 2 or until firm enough to handle.
4. Roll dough into walnut size ball(1-inch size). Lightly beat egg white. Dip balls in egg white n then in pecans. Fyi most the time I dont even bother with the egg white cuz dough is soft enough to stick to the pecans but its ur call. Place 1 inch apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Use ur thumb to make an indention in center of each cookie.
5. Bake in 350 °F oven for 8-10 minutes or until sides r set. Place on cooling rack, wait 15 minutes to add caramel to center of each cookie. Melt hershey kisses in microwave make sure u donyt burn it, then drizzle over cookie n caramel center.
6. Grab a few n a glass of milk and enjoy :-)
