Cooling racks

Cooling racks are an absolute must in my kitchen. Cover them with wax paper and you don't get theannoying rack marks on the bottom of your cookies and you save a lot of crumb mess!!!

I Had them forever before I realized what they were for. . And even then I didn't find them necessary. . . UNTIL I ACTUALLY USED THEM ONE TIME . . and then I saw what the fuss was about.

Tip from me to you all. Use them with grilled cheese or other hot sandwiches instead of putting them on the plate right away let them sit on a rack for 2 min then the side that would have been on the plate stays crunchy not soft.

I wish I had some.  i just turn our pizza sheet (it's got small holes in the bottom for baking pizzas) to cool off things.  It acually works well.  Just turn it upside down, so it's slightly elevated, and it cools things quickly.
