1 quart of strawberries
1 cup of sugar
2 tbs corn starch
1 tsp vanilla
pie crust
chop half of the strawberries into a small dice, or run them thru the food processor, you dont want puree but little chunks
put them in a pot with the sugar and cornstarch, cook down until thick, when you pull the spoon out it will drip and then seize, the drop will not fall...then add the rest of the strawberries, halved
pour into a prepared pie crust and chill for a couple hours ..serve with whipped cream if you want..my pics wouldnt come out :( but trust me...you want to make this pie
