College Inn Recipes- Beef Fajitas

Beef Fajitas

Prep: 7 mins.
Cook time: 23 minutes

Ingredients

1 Tbs. vegetable oil

1 lb. thinly sliced beef

1 cup thinly sliced onions

1 cup thinly sliced red bell peppers

1 cup thinly sliced green peppers

1 can 14.5 oz College Inn Beef Broth French Onion Style

1 package Fajita seasoning

 

Directions:

In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add beef and sauté until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add onions and peppers and cook until peppers are tender, about 3 minutes. Add broth and heat to boil, simmer uncovered 15 minutes to reduce. Stir in fajita seasoning, mixing well. Bring to a boil. Serve over rice or in a warmed flour tortilla.

I'd sure like to see a review on how this tastes, I hate to cook and prefer to try new recipes that have good reviews. I wonder what the French onion broth does to the flavor.

Beleve me I've cooked this just as it says and it kums out so yummy. The broth actually just makes the meat juicier and brings out the flavor!!!

I wouldn't have thought to use the broth in fajitas.  I bet it is a wonderful addition.  I added beef broth to my taco soup the other day and it was so much better.  So I'd imagine the same would be true of this recipe.  I'll have to try it next time I make them.  Thanks for the inspiration.
