Raise good kids without losing your mind. The years between 12 and 20 can be a time of deepening your relationship with your soon-to-be-adult child if you remember two crucial points: (1) rely on a Power greater than yourself and (2) keep your sense of humor.

Group Guidelines/Participation Tips
This is a private group available only to those that apply. The following are the requirements for being accepted into Moms of Teens: 2) You do not post spam or advertisements. This includes but is not limited to work from home opportuinties.
Please use your common sense and if you wouldn't do or say it in a public setting, please do not do or say it here at Moms of Teens.
1) You believe in and rely upon a power greater than yourself. We do not make specifications on what that Higher Power is, however, because this is a diverse group, Please refrain from using religious symbols (i.e. signature pictures, etc.) in your posts. This group was established as a safe place for those who use faith, prayer, etc. to cope with life with a kid in the throes of a "melted brain."
3) You have or work with teens
4) You do not share personal information in the public forums i.e. last name, personal e-mails, phone numbers, etc.
5) Being such a large and diverse group, there are bound to be differing opinions on topics regarding our children. Please refrain from "flaming" other moms when you do not agree. We are all adults here and can lovingly agree to disagree. If things start deteriorating into "flaming," then the whole post with replies will be deleted. Corrie Lynne made the group private because we were getting some members who were mostly interested in stirring things up.
6) Please refrain from using profanity. If you have used profanity in your post, you will receive a note asking you to edit it. If it is not edited within a reasonable amount of time, the post and all responses will be deleted.
No "subject" is taboo, as long as it is respectfully presented, and discussed. This includes such issues as birth control, sex, spirituality, etc. However, the subject must be tastefully and respectfully presented.
The group owner and/or administrators reserve the right to remove any unacceptable material or posts.
Group administrators are available for assistance. (Please see Member List for all Administrators and Group Owner)
