Religious Roundtable
Roundtable: a conference, discussion, or deliberation in which each participant has equal status, equal time to present views.
This group is for debate and discussion about any and all religious topics. This is a great place to learn about a variety of religions. Heated and passionate debate is welcome and encouraged, but bashing and personal attacks are not allowed. All perspectives welcome and desired! A variety of religions and worldviews is what makes this sort of group great!
There is a wealth of information and resources posted in this group, and we are continually adding on to what is already here. Please check out the "Reference/Information" forum.

I am going to trust that we are all adults here!
The only rules I have to insist on are:
1. Be nice to others. Every religion has a version of the "Do unto others" rule... How about we try and follow it here?
2. No bashing of any kind. Not only am I personally opposed to this childish behavior, but it is a CafeMom rule and the group as a whole can get in trouble if it is not followed.
3. No personal attacks.
4. No ganging up on anyone. Everyone is welcome here, as long as they treat others with respect. We all make friends in these groups, and I know that it can be tempting to jump all over someone who has criticized or attacked a friend in some way. Saying "Hey that wasn't nice" is fine, but attacking back is immature and will not be tolerated.
5. No Drive-by Preaching!!
6.This is a DEBATE group. While we have many members who are just here to share information and learn from others, there are also many members who come here to debate. Expect that your opinions will be disputed, and do not be offended simply because people disagree with you and have the nerve to say so.
***** Font colors to be aware of *****
Please understand the meaning of the following font colors, and also refrain from using these colors as your regular font for replying in this group.
This bright PINK font means sarcasm in here. Sarcasm can be difficult to express in writing, and religion is a very sensitive topic... So, to ensure that your jokes are understood as jokes and don't offend anyone, type them in this font.
