What do you think about the name Reggie. (please do NOT offence) is it race oriented (as hubby thinks) do you like, dislike, boy, girl?!?!
I really like it. When I was a kid we had a gentlemen in the church that was named Reggie, he would send us birthday cards every year... he sent them to everyone in the church and even if he didn't know you well, he really took the time to write a nice message in each card. I'll never forget that, so the name is attached to fond memories for me and I like it! :) I think it could be kinda cute for a girl even.

On the show "Dead Like Me", her little sister was named Reggie, and I always thought it was precious!!
I think it would work for either gender, but I would find a proper name (like Reginald or whatever) to actually put on the birth certificate.
I don't think it is bogged down by stereotypes, either--it is not popular enough in any group for that =)
