The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!

Good: this week is only 3 days of waking up early- giving me a chance to sleep in is a jewel in the rough- and I am going to do my best to enjoy it.

Bad: My fiance's dad is a disabled vet and he is the one who always does all the cooking- well this year he has a full leg cast on his leg because after his last surgery, he overstrained himself and bothched his own surgery, so they decided to keep it straight they would have to cast it.  My fiance seems not to think nothing of his dad inviting us over for Thanksgiving dinner, he says his dad will do what he wants, but it's against my better judgement to support his "willingness" to cook for all the "able" people who could do it instead...  I do not know what to do!

Ugly:  I have a killer headache and alot of housework to do:(

YEAH for three days of work this week!  Enjoy sleeping in. :)  I know that can be hard when you have a family member that you KNOW should be taking it easy and just won't.  Can you go a little early and offer a hand?  I have learned to offer help, and then accept it when they say no... sometimes it brings people joy to serve you in that way... but I know it can be so hard to watch, especially when you know they are in pain!  Hope your headache goes away!

It's just the fact that his dad would NOT be in this predicament if he had just taken it easy after his surgery a year and a half ago.  And I get angry that the closest ones to him don't seem to care as much as I do! I will definitely be going early- our parents are finally meeting this Thanksgiving after 4 years of being together- I will do my best not to completely take over the kitchen, because I am notorious for doing that at home... I hope the headache goea away too- I have heard alot of mommas say they got more and more as the pregnancy was nearing it's end. Thanks btw- I hope your well wishes will help alleviate the pain a little more than tylenol alone;)
