Most of them seem like very hard attempts at trying to make unique names. I guess im more of a traditional name person though. wink

Sophora reminds me of Sephora..the store lol. A few are cute and others are kinda off the wall but everyone has their own naming style.

I like Persia, that's it.

I've heard of Waverly but only for a guy.

Saydee is normal. Just an odd spelling.

Evanie I think will be rising soon. Eveny is a male Irish name. Eveny is the anglicized version of Aibhne. Of course is sounds feminine in the US.

Some of the rest of them are once again "unique" spellings of perfectly fine names. I am so sick of this trend. I hope it dies soon!!!

Quoting So_Blessed7:

Waverly - I really like Waverly. I don't know why.

Ezraela - NMS

Saydee - Oh NO. A - It's a nickname. B - It's badly misspelled.

Charizma - Why add the Z?

Persia - NMS but ok.

Allegria - Too close to the allergy medicine Allegra for me.

Evanie - NMS.

Aeyen - No idea how to pronounce that.

Whitley - Uck.

Alaysia - Uck.

Sophora - Too close to the makeup store.

Gentry - This is more of a boy name to me.

Morrighan - It's fine.

Whitby - Like the island? This name sounds boyish to me.

Azul - Cute but NMS.

Aezya - Really? Why not just Asia?

Taelise - Yuck.

Kamber - NMS

Jynxzie - Ewwwwwwwwwwww

Sydelle - NMS but OK.

Royal Modesty - AHAHAHAHAHAHA. That poor kid is going to have a rough time on the playground. I've seen Royal used as a boy's name and that didn't seem bad, but this is terrible!

Koydee - NMS at all.

Cerinitee - Because Serenity is such a common name....

Layal - NMS.

Daelyn - NMS.

Bijou - It's OK.

Ahlorra - I don't like the spelling.

Brixley - NMS but trendy enough.

Kada - NMS.

Amarelye - Can't figure out how to pronounce this.

Quintessa - DH actually has a cousin named this. We call her Tessa.

Kolbee - It reminds me of the cheese.

Landry - This sounds like a boy's name to me.

Calyssa - Cute but I prefer Calista. They sound almost the same :)

Brinkleyn - NMS but trendy enough.

Tranquilina - No.....

Courtlynn - NMS but trendy enough.

Edyelis - I don't know how to pronounce this one.

and, get ready for it...

Uniquue - Haha!

I think some of them are pretty usable, most of them just aren't to my taste. I couple of them I liked for boys (Gentry, Landry, Whitby).

When I was on Babyfit, one of the ladies in my forums had a daughter named Waverly. That was the first time I had ever heard the name, and it stuck in my head as a girl's name. This was before I got obsessed with baby naming, though!
