Apple: I think as long as "fruit" is an insult, using a fruit for a name is just off. I mean, I can't imagine Lemon or Grapefruit, Cantalope.....I don't like edible names.

Alma: Love love love love love Alma, because it means "nourising" or "soul" so I changed it in my mind to mean "nourishing the soul" which if you think about it is the perfect meaning for a baby's name but my husband hates it as much as I am a fan.

August: Like August a lot, but wouldn't ever use it.

Autumn: This is my least favorite season name. Spring is actiony but surprising; Winter is refreshing, and Summer is sunshine. Autumn is a wonderful time of year, but a boring name.

Boman: Cool and cute--it could work

Cato: Meh

Charlotte: I like Charlotte, I just don't mega love it. I prefer Charisma.

Elmer: Mehhhhh. Maybe in a few decades.

Emerson: LOVE Emerson...While I could see it on a girl, and its all right or whatever, for me it is a fantastic boy's name. Plus, my husband played Ralph Waldo Emerson in his high school production of "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail" so it would be a cute little reference to that.

George: George is good, just not grab me great. Maybe a middle name.

Hugo: Love Hugo. So stinkin cute.

Ferdinand: I like Ferdinand. Don't really care for the nickname options.

Fulbright: For the right kid, this could be bada*s

Jones: Prefer Jonas and Jonah, but Jones could be good.

Kaya: I prefer Kaia, because it makes me think of Gaia without the guy thing. Kaya makes me think Kayak.

Minerva: Love it. Would use it in a heartbeat if Michael would let me and I would call her Minnie. Love it.

Naropa: This one I have a weird love-hate relationship with. I really really like it in theory, but practice I just don't see it working

Nestor: I could see this working on a girl, but not my girl

Olivia: I have never really been on board with this one. It's just...I think Olympia is much prettier and tons more fun, but everyone likes Olivia more. People are weird.

Pallas: NMS

Sage: Not my favorite. Seasoning to me, not a baby name. Which is weird that I say that since I actually like Rosemary, Caraway, and Thyme.

Shanahan: This one surprised me, but I kinda like it--it feels Irish

Sophia: I like this better spelled the Spanish Sofia, or as a middle name.
