I am a big fan of "try before you buy". I do not have any problems with premarital sex at all..and, honestly, hope my girls are NOT virgins when they get married (it is, of course, uup to them). They need to know what they are getting into.
With my oldest I always told her I wanted her to be in a serious relationship and to be on birth control first. She is having sex with her boyfriend now and I don't have a problem with it. I know how I was at her age and as long as they are being safe I'm ok with it. I think marrying someone for life without ever having sex with them could cause alot of problems down the road if they are not sexually compatible.
