The dobie puppy I bought for my mom is being raised by my brother. I actually think my brother Jeff is going to end up with her bc I don't think my mom can handle her. But anyway... Look at what this puppy ate. She had to have surgery to remove it.
Here is the puppy...

Here's what she ate...

A ROCK! Anyone ever have a dobie eat something they shouldn't? Dillinger (the dobie), her dad York ate a toy and had to have surgery to remove it. Is this a normal dobie thing??
First thank god the puppy is ok!!
My dogs have never eatten rocks but my female Commander eats (or rather has chewed) more things than I can list. She still chews from time to time and she is almost 4 years old. The only thing I have seen her pass is pillow stuffing and pieces of blankets. We have learned to be very careful about where we put things but I guess there is no way to prevent everything. I never thought about rocks.
Lucius LOVES socks, dirty or clean! Luckily he's always thrown them back up! We try to make sure he can't get to any but he has sock radar lol. If there is an "unsecured" sock anywhere in the house he'll find it. He's probably eaten (swallowed whole) 15+ socks in his nearly 4 years.
I'm glad the puppy's OK!
OMG! Raven just threw up a sock yesterday! She usually eats panties. Throws them up too. And lots of crayons. And fuzzy blankets she sucks on them and chews off pieces. We see thoes in her poop! Stupid dobies! But they sure are cute!!
Oh man! Yep, my female shreds and eats blankets, her beds, socks, toys, ... a couch, ... my mattress. I am really limited to what I can give them to play with, because she destroys and eats them. She hasnt done any serious damage with my items since she was about 2 (she is 6 now), but her stuff is guaranteed to be shredded. I just buy up old blankets and sheets at garage sales for her and ler her go at it. My male isnt too bad. He is a shredder, but doesnt usually eat non-edible items :c )
