my baby has been throwing up please help cant get to vet till next week

  my dog has been throwing up the night before last night so i looked online and saw somewhere it said have her fast for 24 hours which i did then today give her rice so im waiting on the rice to cool off and her eat it well i think yesterday she did get into some of the kids food and that is what im thinking is making her sick if the rice doesnt work does anyone else have any suggestions cause im not going to be able to get her to the vet before next week

Plain white rice and boiled ground beef or chicken. If that doesn't help I'd try to get her to a vet ASAP.

 i gave her the white rice but she didnt want to eat it and i think the problem is like i said she is eating stuff she should be because every time i get onto my kids bc they give her people food an hour or so after she eats it she has to throw up

I don't know... my Dobe's only ever had problems with keeping any kind of food down after swallowing foreign objects (usually socks), which can be very dangerous if the don't come out on their own.

Make sure she doesn't get ANYTHING but cooked plain rice an boiled lean meat for the next 12-24 hours and if she's still throwing up she really needs to go to a vet. I can't wait a week.
