Please Introduce yourself, and your Dobe if you have one!

I'm Ashley, I'm  a dog trainer, dobe owner, and of course mom to one beautiful baby girl! I've been in love with this breed since I was 11 years old, I finally got one and he is now almost 3! He may be my first but he won't be my last!

Here's Lucius:

And with his sister PJ (beagle/basset) and cousin Baylee (pitty/beagle):

  • He is so handsome. Is he silly?  I have always heard reds are clowns and ours totally is. We never stop laughing at him.

I don't know if this is the right post but I guess I will go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Beth and I am 27. I have 2 Dobies. Commander, our black and tan female will be 3 in June and Cherokee our red male will be 2 in January. I also have a 7 month old baby boy (REES) and a cross eyed cat that is the real boss of the house.

These are our first Dobermans and I'm sure not our last. They are the most affectionate dogs I have ever seen and are so smart. They are also wonderful with the baby and really are a part of the family.

I can't wait wait to meet other dobie lovers in this group =)

  • They are gorgeous! My boy is definitely goofy, but just with his family, he has to play serious with everyone else!

  • Hi! My name is Tara and our family has three dobies. Two females (blk/rust & red) and one blk/rust male. Our male Zeus will be 3 Dec. 25th and our female blk/rust Shadow will be 2 Dec. 22nd. We were recently given the red female doberman, Kimba. We love this breed very much!!! Our 2 yr old daughter can't get enough of them. They are truly a magnificent breed and a great family/protection dog. We want more! Like 3 isnt enough already! LOL!

I hope to meet other dobie lovers and share stories and advice! Thanks so much for creating this group!

  • Hello everyone. My name is Megan and my husbands name is Todd. We just got our first doberman. She just turned 2 on December 13th and yes, we had a party. She is our child right now( we just got married in September) and she prob will be our only for a while. I am pushing to get a boy cause i feel she needs someone to play with. lol. Anyway, her name is Reese. She is brown and black and she has her natural ears. Shes crazy and always so hyper, but i will say one thing, when it comes to being a couch potato she can do it best. She only sleeps with a blanket over her and she always has to be touching someone with something, whether its her foot or her head. and what leaner!! leaning on the couch, the bed, on one of us. the other day she was leaning on the food home delivery guy. lol.  I will try to get some pics of her soon on here. i just got a new computer so i have to download things. I will talk to all of you soon. Its so great to have people to talk to that are just as crazy about their dog as i am. lol

  • Hi ladies,

I'm Christina, AKA "C" around CafeMom groups.  I grew up with Dobies as a girl and now I have gotten one as my first dog on my own.  I bought her mostly for protection, as well as companionship.

This is Roxie (mostly called "Roxie Rocks")

...with a my goddaughter (in purple) and her cousin

    ...with me

    ...when I first got her

She is now 12weeks and will be going to the vet to get her next set of shots and get weighed tomorrow.  She gained 11lbs in the first two weeks I had her so Im curious to see how big she is now. I need to take some more pictures so I can compare her size its amazing how fast she is growing....and oh my how much she eats!

I love her to death but her stubornness can really make me nuts some times.

**Just and FYI...I will NOT be doing her ears

    BTW--everyone's babies are gorgeous!

  • Hi everyone!  My name is Michelle and I'm the proud Dobe Mom to Zane, a big red Dobe, who is 7 years old.  We adopted him from Illinois Doberman Rescue in 2005.  Zane has some issues but we love him to death!  He is best friends with our Shi Tzu, Petey, and panics when Petey is not around.  I also have a 2 1/2 year old little boy, named Zac, who loves to chase Zane around the house on his trike!  Here's Zane trying to lay in Petey's bed!
