You can get some catfish filets and fry them.  They are really simple.  We are big catfish eaters so we get alot!!  But you can get about 4-5 lbs and you can cut them in half depending on how big they are.  I get an already made coating for them.  I get Louisiana brand.  Don't know where you live so don't know if you can get it.  I usually get the pre-seasoned.  They also have an unseasoned one and you can add whatever you like to that one.  Pat the fish with a paper towel and make sure you have most of the water off then coat with the coating.  Put in oil at 350 degrees and cook till it floats.  I also bake salmon.  I don't eat it because I don't like it but my family does and there are alot of recipes on Cook.com that will help you with that.  I just do it with salt, pepper, basil, and lemon juice. I hope this helps you!  Also if you are buying fresh fish or seafood you should make sure it doesn't smell too fishy.  If it does then its not very fresh.  If you buy a whole fish make sure the eyes aren't cloudy if they are don't buy it.
