About Adoption

Parents who have adopted or want to adopt - share stories, give advice, need a shoulder to cry on... we're here! If you are an adoptee or a birth parent, please come share with us.

This group is headed by an adult adoptee and birthmom and is administered by a set of moms who represent all members of the adoption triad (adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth moms). Our goal is to provide a place that allows for thoughtful, respectful, and supportive dialogue about adoption and related issues. This is not a place where all members have the same viewpoints or beliefs but it IS a place where we can expose ourselves to the wide range of adoption experiences and learn about how this journey impacts our lives.

As this group has grown with leaps and bounds, we regret that we cannot accept members who have blank profiles (no info, no photos, no journals, no friends, etc) to cut down on those who would use the anonymity to make inflammatory posts. If your page is set to private.. you will need to add at least one of the admins to your friends list before you will be approved.

We also really want this to be a group of ACTIVE members so please... if you haven't logged into your CM in a month or more... you may be removed! We hate to do it but want this to be a vibrant, fun group!
