This group is for moms who have adopted, women hoping to adopt, adoptees and natural mothers/ "birthmothers." If adoption has touched your life in some way, you've come to the right place. Feel free to read quietly or jump on in and share your story with us. If you need a shoulder to cry on, a friend to lean on, someone to share your joy with, we are here!

The group's owner is an adoptee. We are administered by a group of moms who represent all members of the adoption triad (adoptees, adoptive moms/hopeful adoptive woman, and birth moms). Our goal is to provide a place that promotes thoughtful, respectful, and supportive dialogue among all of our members, no matter where you fall on the triad. This group does not cater to one group of members vs. another. While it's impossible to maintain an equal number of each triad member, every person in our group is equally as valuable as the next. Each member deserves to be treated with respect, even when our views differ. Whether expressing the highest of highs or lowest of lows, our goal is to learn from one another and support one another in the journey that has brought each one of us to this group.

**This is NOT a matching group. Hopeful adoptive parents and expectant woman considering adoption may not solicit for adoption within this group.**

We would prefer that this group be made up of as many ACTIVE members as possible. An active-member group keeps things moving, keeps the content current and leads to a more enjoyable, educational and vibrant experience for it's members. If you haven't logged on to CM in a month or more, you may be removed! Removing members is not something we want to do, but please be aware that it's possible. However, life happens. If you are deleted from the group due to inactivity, but want to return and be an active member, please rejoin and jump right back in!
