THESE ARE THE RULES THAT WILL BE FOLLOWED FROM HERE ON OUT!! POSTED ON OCTOBER 28th, 2009 at 3 A.M. EST
The rules will be enforced as of today(10-28-09)..If you can not follow these rules or if you break ANY of these rules you will be blocked from this group. If you don't agree with these rules stay out of chat. If you have a question regarding them please feel free to contact me. I will explain each rule the best I can if you still don't understand, bring it to me in PM or in a email.
As of this day(10-28-09) if ANYONE brings up what happened in this chat before today you will be blocked no questions or warnings will be ask or given. Old arguements, drama fights, or anything like that...are examples to what I mean. I live for today not of the past...I do not want to hear about what happened in this room last night or any other night prior. We are adults, drop it and get over it and leave it there in the past.
I should not have to mention this but I will...ABSOLUTELY NO TALK ABOUT McD'S MONOPOLY GAME IN THE CHAT. To many fights have started over it of whos playing it right and whos not. If you want to play the game fine, but no chat about it at all. If you mention it, you will be given a warning in both the chat room and in PM. If you keep on after the warning you will be booted and blocked from chat. Any questions come to me about it in PM or email.
If you disrespect ANY of the admins you will be gone automatically. If they give you a warning about something obey that warning and DO NOT argue back with them OR me.
NO BASHING...the bashing of moms you don't know or anyones kids will not be permitted in this chat room.
NO THREATS...there is a fine line of joking around and a serious threat. If you threaten someone in this group and you harrass them then you will be booted, blocked and reported to cafemom.
Chat is to be opened by the owners or admins ONLY. If you are caught in the chat room with no admin present then the person who opened it will be booted and blocked for 24 hours...now with that said, I myself have been kicked while in the room alone with chatters, if that happens and another owner or admin come in please state it as you see them come in that the other owner or admin was kicked and is returning. It usually takes about 5 minutes for me to get back but I will return if it happens so the admin or owner that come in knows I was there at one time.
NO GROUP LINKS....NO links to other group will be permitted in the chat. If you want someone to join another group or whatever take it to PM or IM.
NO LIARS OR TROLLS...if you are caught lying to use about who you are and your there to start drama or if you are a troll(a troll is someone who makes fake profiles and comes back to chat to start drama) once I find out you will be booted, blocked and your profile will be reported to cafemom as a fake.
NO COPYING AND PASTING NOTHING from main chat or from Private Messages. I can careless what is going on in main chat. And PMs are your private messages, leave them that way.
NO SAYING "GO TO PM ?(screenname)" When you say that others start assuming and saying that your talking about them or others and it just starts a arguement about what the PM is really about. So please keep it to yourself. If your in PM with someone keep going back to check it or if your speakers are up and you receive a new message the it will ding.
If you have a problem with another chatter..use your ignore button..thats why its there. And you don't have to post to everyone that you will be ignoring someone, just click and ignore and leave it at that, if you ignore them and don't say anything and they keep on they will go, not you. Be the adult ignore them and don't fight back. The more you sit and read what they are saying then the madder you will get and want to say somthing back,when you do then you both get booted.
NO KIDS THAT CAN READ ARE ALOUD....if your child can read then this is no place for them, I, nor anyone in the room will be blamed when your child reads some of the chat in this room and ask you about it. If the child can't read, he/she is welcomed to come type a few letters to say hello to everyone. My son for example likes to talk when I have to go potty or go to the kitchen,,,hes 2 yrs old, he can not read, so therefore I see no harm in letting him type a few lines.
DO NOT EVER JUMP ON MY ASS OR MY ADMINS...Do not tell me what I AM going to do...I am old enough and NO ONE tells me what I AM going to do. If you want to jump my ass or my admins...bring it to me in PM or email. Trust me you won't like what you hear.
If you and another one start a fight...you will BOTH go if I can not see who started it. I can get chat logs but it takes days to get and I will need the time frame it started in. Thats why my admins are there to give me that time frame so I can request it from CafeMom. You will be blocked until I determine who started it, or for 3 days.
The actions taken if not marked with the rule are as follows...
1st time you break it...you will recieve a warning in PM AND in the room by me or an admin.
2nd time you break it...you will be booted and blocked from chat for 24 hours.
3rd time you break it...you will be booted and blocked and discussed by the owners and admins if you will be allowed to return or not.
Now with these rules set in place...I am requiring EVERYONE to READ & SIGN them. I will be keeping a list of who I have told and checking to make sure you read & signed.
Now on a personal note....I am trying to work on getting my GED for my son, and I can not be in the chat room every second of every day. That is why there is admins, who are...Lost51, Short_N_Sassy, and 4grlshelp. I want to be able to leave this chat and study or whatever and know that when I come back I don't have everyone jumping my ass about who got banned or who didn't. The admins will boot according to these rules, thats why they are here. If you are booted and have an issue as to why or whatever please feel free to email me with the time(please add your time zone) and if it was a rule where you got a warning then let me know what your warning was. I can't answer 15 PMs popping at me saying well it was so and so's fault she started it, or whatever. I will get the chat log for that time period and see what happened and get back to you on it. I want to be friends with you all, and I will not be pushed into a spot where I have to choose who I can be friends with and who I can't because of drama and fights. If you find these rules to hard to follow then I am sorry and you are free to leave, but do not cause drama or arguements in this chat. You can love me, like me or hate me because I am a grown woman I can handle it(I wear big girl depends, not Pampers Easy-Ups)...and these rules HAD to be done.
