We are tossing around the idea of opening up a consultant program for Mere' Minerals, now that we surpassed our 1 year in business. As this is in the drawing stages, what things would interest you if you were a consultant? TIA
The price of a startup kit, making sure that I knew how to match people's skin color and apply the makeup and a good combo of colors. Usually make-up lines have a skin care line and that is really where you make the money b/c color lasts for a long time and isn't replenishable monthly, but the skin care is. i think it would be really important to know reputable companies to refer them to if you don't provide it.
I was a Beauti-Control consultant for many years and the problem I faced was that I had to be a retail store and so I spent a lot of $$, but didn't make any and then maybe they want to buy what I had OR maybe not!! I always loved teaching people how to apply their make-up and they always looked better when they were leaving!! That was fun!
What about a referral program, where people could make money for referring new customers to you? They could still be a point of contact, but wouldn't be required to be distributors; you would still do that. You want to help people, not encourage them to get in debt to buy your GREAT products and then have it sit in their garage unsold.
I would be interested in talking to you about this. I am very passionate about health. When I first saw your ad, I thought maybe you were a consultant. I could hardly believe that you were actually the owner!!!
