Hi there!

I'm Tessa. I am 27 years old and a first-time mom. DD Chloe will be 4 months on October 12. We've been mostly breastfeeding with some formula here and there. She's been really cranky and refusing the breast (she hadn't had a bottle, really, in three weeks) so we've been adding in about 4 oz of formula per day. I know breast is best, but with the way she screams and tugs at me... well, it's easy for mommy and daddy's sanity to give her a small bottle.

I've been a little upset with myself lately for not EBF, but I'm trying to convince myself that in the long run all that matters is that Chloe is healthy and happy. I always thought that EBF would be really easy, and I guess I'm a little depressed that I'm having trouble keeping up with her (and that when she gets upset and hungry I'm the only one who can handle it).

I'm looking forward to the solids stage; I plan to make our own baby food!
